Drive Cars Down A Hill Vehicle Tier List Hub

Survival S, speed S, and the 125 MPH toys that should wait.

Vehicle Tier List Hub

This hub is a wiki ranking, not an official Mally’s Studios list. Drive Cars Down A Hill launched on April 19, 2022 as a 25-player Roblox physics sandbox. Cash comes from distance, destruction, and style. The shop, Saturday drops, and weekly trucks all spend the same wallet, so ranking by hype will strand you in Ghosttown with a 125 MPH gimmick that cannot finish Hydrochapter.

Use the three child pages together. The best cars list splits survival S (Sand Bruiser FJ45, Kuban G1A1-02, Gaz-66) from speed S (Contact, Cougar, Raccoon). The speed ranking lines up stated top speeds from the 38 MPH Rabbit to the 300 MPH class. The starter vehicles page is the one to open before you spend anything: Jalopy 2106 is mandatory, then Gaz-24 Volga and Lada 2106.

How this wiki ranking works

We rank for two jobs: finishing hills and going fast once you can afford to crash. A truck that sells slushees for $500 each is entertaining on a full server. It is not a substitute for a million-dollar chassis that still has wheels after The Climb. Every letter below is opinion based on public gameplay, shop labels, and Saturday patch habits. Cash prices in this hub match the V2Lada-era shop pass on the vehicle roster.

Four questions decide a letter:

  • Survival: does the car still steer after ramps, landmines, and other drivers
  • Speed: the MPH printed on the weekly or shop card
  • Value: cash you must farm versus what the car actually does
  • Role: daily driver, event toy, or chaos prop

New cars often land on Saturday. Recheck the weekly vehicles log before you treat a letter as frozen. If a drop looks tempting, compare it against the latest updates instead of emptying a Hydrochapter stack on day one.

S tier

Speed S: Contact (300 MPH), Cougar (250 MPH), and Raccoon (300 MPH, about $100M). These are the cars people chase after the cash farm at Hydrochapter Depot starts printing 100k chunks. Cougar is twitchy on water; Contact is the usual upgrade once Cougar feels loose.

Survival S: Sand Bruiser FJ45 ($1,000,000), Kuban G1A1-02 ($1,300,000), and Gaz-66 ($700,000). They exist to complete Dunes and keep a line through Bunk Laps instead of exploding at the first river jump. Jalopy 2106 is F for speed and S for being free. It is the only car every new driver should spawn.

A tier

Cannes Pursuit (170 MPH, classic US police), Lance (140 MPH, deliver 50 pizzas), Scout Car ($350,000), and Willys ($250,000) sit in the middle. They are faster than the 125 MPH weekly pack without asking for Raccoon money. Buy them after Volga and Lada, not instead of a working farm loop. Pair this band with the cash planner so a police car does not wipe a Sand Bruiser fund.

B and C tiers

B: Most 125 MPH weekly gimmicks. IPC Delivery Truck grabs physics objects. Spearhead SUV costs $400k and tows a rideable boat. Tanker Truck is high explosive. Albany Villager starts slow, rolls fast, and seats seven. Slushee Truck sells drinks at $500 each. Meitaro Truck is light and springy. Box Truck is 140 MPH with big physics props. Fun on a 25-player server. Poor as your only hill car.

C: Rabbit ($1, 38 MPH) is novelty chaos, not a grind tool. R350 is truck-like flavor. Gubby shows up in gameplay talk without a shop card you should bank on. Rocket is an admin-like dragster with one life; historically it cost about 1M cash or 50 Robux. Treat it as a stunt, not a rank.

How to spend in order

  1. Spawn Jalopy 2106 from the shop ($0).
  2. Learn controls and survive the first Dunes walkthrough.
  3. Farm with the Hydrochapter method.
  4. Buy Gaz-24 Volga ($10,000) then Lada 2106 ($30,000) before flashy weeklies.
  5. Save toward Gaz-66, Sand Bruiser, or Kuban for survival, then Cougar, Contact, or Raccoon for speed.

Like + Join still beats empty codes. Group gifts live on group rewards. Scripts are optional and risky; if you even open that topic, start at the scripts hub and how to execute notes rather than pasting random auto-farms.

Keep this ranking next to the vehicles hub so shop names, map names, and gamepasses stay in one mental model. Official news belongs on the official links list, not in rumor threads. Saturday is for window shopping. Depot is for paying the bill. If a weekly truck cannot finish a chapter, it does not belong in S, no matter how loud the boat or the slushee window is.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for downhill runs, cash, and cars.

Is this an official Drive Cars Down A Hill tier list?

No. It is a wiki ranking based on public gameplay. Mally's Studios does not publish letter grades. Confirm shop names on the vehicle roster.

Which page should I open first?

New wallets should start on starter vehicles. Spenders comparing hill cars should use best cars. MPH nerds want the speed ranking.

Why is Jalopy both F and S?

Jalopy 2106 is free and slow. It is F if you rank raw speed and S if you rank "can I play the game today." Do not skip it.

Should I buy a 125 MPH weekly truck early?

Usually no. Farm first with the cash farm, then decide. Most 125 MPH drops are B-tier fun, not efficient hill tools.
